1. Overview
DecayFix ("we", "our", or "us") provides a search performance diagnostic tool for blog owners. This policy explains what information we collect when you sign in with Google and how it is used.
2. Google API Data & Permissions
When connecting your Google account, we request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly scope. This is strictly read-only permission.
- We only fetch aggregate click and impression metrics for verified URLs on your domain.
- We never modify your Google Search Console settings or sitemaps.
- We do not sell, rent, or transfer your Google Search Console data to any third-party marketing brokers.
- OAuth refresh tokens are encrypted at rest on our secure servers.
3. AI Suggestions & Data Processing
To generate content refresh suggestions, we send the URL, public post title, and statistical traffic drop percentage to Anthropic's Claude API. No personal identifiers are transmitted in this request.
4. Payment Information
Payment processing is handled securely via Razorpay. We do not store or process credit card numbers or banking credentials on our servers.
5. Account Deletion & Data Revocation
You can revoke DecayFix's access at any time through your Google Security Settings (Google Account Permissions). To request deletion of your stored account data, contact privacy@decayfix.com.
